With the arrival of the hot weather to Metro Phoenix, you might be thinking about a Summer outing to one of the Valley's water parks.
Here's a run down on the big four:
(1) Big Surf -- 1500 N. McClinktock Drive, Tempe, Arizona
Their wave pool was the first in the United States and remains the third-largest in the world.  There are also plenty of other water features, for young and old, to enjoy.

Bring a blanket and a picnic dinner and enjoy a free movie in the park, on Monday October 28th, 2013 at 6pm.
The fun will take place at Kiwanis Park, 6111 S. All America Way, Tempe, Arizona.
To celebrate Halloween, the featured movie will be the Disney production, "Spooky Buddies".
