Many people around the country might be surprised to learn that there is plenty of Fall Foliage in Arizona.
In fact, if I put a blind-fold on you and set you down in Northern Arizona, you might assume you were in Colorado.  Yet there are pockets of fall colors througout our State.

Arizona is blessed with a large amount of forest land, filled with Douglas Fir and Spuce trees, along with the world's largest stand of Ponderosa Pine trees.

Beautiful Arizona -- My Home
Arizona has experienced extraordinary growth in the last several decades and yet in many ways, it has retained its charm and rugged beauty.
This is due to the fact that only 15% of Arizona is privately owned.  The remaining 85% is made up of public forests and parks, Native American reservations, and land that is still included in the state trust.  Thus, future generations will continue to marvel at our many natural wonders, such as the Grand Canyon and Sonoran Desert.
