As a professional Realtor® in Frisco Texas, I, like many others, always have work to do. When I work my broker's office phones, one of the last things I want to hear is, "Can I speak with the listing agent." This is not because I am missing out on a possible client but rather someone is most likely making a mistake. They could be if you are the buyer. You have decided to buy a new home. You are looking for a home on one of the many literally unbelievable websites (you know which ones I am referring too) where many people start. Or you could be driving around the neighborhood where you want to buy a home looking at signs or going to open houses. Why would you want to speak to the listing agent?
