Here are before and after photos that no one wants to see. On March 11, 2011 we were at our Big Island of Hawaii condo and experienced the succession of events resulting from the Japan earthquake. I'm not downplaying the horrific devastation in Japan and our hearts go out to those people. Below is just one example of how that earthquake affected people thousands of miles away. Our small village of Kailua-Kona suffered damage but nothing to compare with what happened at Kealakekua Bay just to the south.
