NAR and Google what a great combination I'm sure it will chuck full of stats, no I have not read it yet, but these two groups know there stuff so I'm sure I will learn a lot and you might too.
Good luck and let’s all make 2013 the Year of Video and the best real estate year!

your central ct realtor: Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays! - 12/10/12 08:35 AM

Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays
Over the past few years I have found it interesting that during the holiday season the question of whether it which phrase was more acceptable Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays.
For me I grew up in a pretty traditional Midwestern area and was Thanksgiving was over the phrase Merry Christmas was most common. Then I moved down South and if I remember correctly it was still pretty common to say Merry Christmas. As I continue to think back I believe it wasn't until I moved to New England and was working for the corporate marketing department at a bank that … (3 comments)

your central ct realtor: Patience is virtue! - 11/11/12 09:54 PM
Patience is a virtue!

I have learned over the years to be a good agent I have to be patient and listen to my clients no matter how crazy what they are saying may sound and ask lots of questions. Along with keeping in mind that … (5 comments)

Special Olympics fun for all!

Today is one of those days that I look forward too but can't describe in short why, but I love it! It makes me realize that God does help even though we don't always know. Eleven years ago I moved from South Carolina to Connecticut for work, at that time I worked for a bank and it was just before I got into real estate. I have always loved sports and Special Olympics was dear to my heart but being new to the area I didn't know how to get involved again. As it … (2 comments)

your central ct realtor: Squirrel… - 09/03/12 09:45 PM
Growing up being active and doing many things never seemed to bother me. I was able to stay focused, well mostly depending on the subject, without any problem. I knew kids with ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder), no big deal. Squirrel…
So, I would love to know how over the years I have developed ADD. Now I have not felt the need to see a doctor about this because I’m sure they would laugh, tell me its life, slow down or give me a pill. But some days I just have to laugh at myself. I start a project, get sidetracked by … (3 comments)

What do you do when you have a client you know needs your help the most and they just won’t let you do your job? And how do you tell them they are making a mistake? I have been scratching my head recently over how one of my seller clients has been acting. This owner came to me as a referral from a past client, we all love the past client referral and this one was no exception. I loved getting the call and was ready to go to work.
Our initial meetings went well; I shared all that I would … (12 comments)

your central ct realtor: I'm Back... - 08/05/12 12:15 PM
It’s hard to believe the summer is almost over and as I look back it has been quite a summer. In today's world of technology you can do almost anything while sitting in front of your computer. This can be good and bad! The last few days have proven the phrase 'Sounds too good to be true, it probably isn't!' to be very true.
One of my listings was posted on Craig's list as a rental last weekend, which created a huge buzz. At first I thought the situation could prove to be helpful, draw people to the home let them see how nice it is and maybe consider buying instead of renting. Not the case because the monthly rent offered … (5 comments)
