A car from a car show at the Dutchess County Fairgrounds
I was looking through sets of photographs when I came across this one of a little car with a big engine.
This photo was taken a few years ago at the Dutchess County Fairgrounds right in the heart of Rhinebeck, a place where there is a car show several times per year.
The car appeared to be one you could really have a lot of fun with.   I could see someone traveling at a fast speed down the Taconic State Parky especially with that souped up engine.

Hudson Valley Wine and Food Fest At the Dutchess County Fairgrounds
Preparation is underway at the Dutchess County Fairgrounds in Rhinebeck NY for the Hudson Valley Wine and Food Fest this weekend.
This is an annual event which brings together in one place many regional wineries to display their wines and attendees have an opportunity to sample a great variety.  There will be wine seminars to heighten your appreciation by showing you how to choose, serve, taste and store wine .
Besides wine tasting you will be able to sample food from many Hudson Valley fine restaurants. There will also be live food preparation demonstrations.

car show dutchess county fairgrounds: Speechless Sunday-Name this old car - 06/27/10 01:20 AM
A  post inspired by  Al and Peggy Cunningham.   This car was parked across from the restaurant in Rhinebeck New York where I was dining last night.
I later discovered a variety of cars parked on the street,  not a surprise since the Good Guys Rod and Custom Car Carshow is at the Dutchess County Fairgrounds just a few blocks away.  By the way the show is still running today so still an opportunity for you to catch the show.
