A glitch or recent change in Google's Algorithm on August 10, 2020 sent the Twitterverse into an uproar and had many SEO (Search Engine Optimization) Experts thinking Google Armageddon had finally arrived. SEO's watched the SERP's (Search Engine Results Page) like a stock ticker on Black Monday thinking that the latest Google Algorithm update had undone years of search engine optimization work in the click of a button.
