I think one of my cats, Simba, is trying to tell me something, don't you? At least that is what I think of looking at this picture. I thought it was fitting after a long work week too! Hi everyone! I am sitting at my desk this morning watching more snow fall (we have had over 10 inches this month already, uggg). I was going through some old photos, and came across this one. I thought I would share it with you, since it seemed especially fitting on a cold, dreery day like today.

I was told last week that I shouldn't have a meaningless username (a bunch of digits/numbers that don't relate to my name in any way) for any of my accounts, including AR. Unfortunately, I didn't know this upon creating my account/profile/etc. If this is indeed true, how do I go about changing my username? Am I even able to do this? If I change my username, will my points be transferred? Can someone give me some advice? The whole point came about when I was trying to learn more about search engine optimization (SEO). I don't know about all of you, but after a weekend of thanksgiving meals, leftovers, desserts, snacks, treats, shopping, fast food, etc., I think a photo of one of my cats, Simba, sums it up best! I know I am! Each year, here in Wisconsin, 2 local radio stations start playing 24 hour Christmas Music as of November 1st! Many people think I am crazy for listening, saying it is WAY TOO EARLY! I disagree! It makes me happy! How can you not tap your foot or drum your fingers on your steering wheel as you listen to the classic songs over and over again? Last week we had record high temperatures here, almost 70 degrees, and yet I was still rockin around the christmas tree! It was wonderful. This past weekend I was at a couple of parties, being introduced to a lot of new faces. As soon as they asked me what I did, and I responded "In real estate", their reactions were all th same. "Oh....." "I'm so sorry", "When was the last time you actually sold something in this market", etc etc etc.

Other than the obvious reasons, such as trying to sell junk around your home, or looking for free items, have you tried this? I go to the renters section and if the rent they are willing to pay is high enough/makes sense, I contact them and ask if they have considered home ownership instead of renting? I do this most mornings, and a few minutes has brought me a few more leads each week. Try it! It is free and another way to increase your business!!

A few weeks ago, I came across www.postlets.com. It is a great site! You can post your listings for free, and it will even transfer the info to other popular sites such as Craigslist. Why not take advantage of the free stuff??? Thought I would pass it along....good luck and happy selling!

I am sure I am not alone out there! I have a listing that has had only 1 showing in over 2 months! We have done price reduction after price reduction, and still nothing. Does anyone have any ideas to stimulate activity and get this thing sold??? I have mentioned selling broker bonues and buyer credits to the sellers. Anything else???
