ky home inspection: Does Old Mean Antiquated?

I haven't seen an old fuse type electrical box in a house for some time. But then again, I am not an inspector. I do remember my Dad changing the fuses when they blew at my childhood home. I wonder if they ever updated that house? Hmmmm

Home inspections...it's all a part of buying or not buying a home. With a short sale or foreclosure there is no seller's disclosure or history of repairs. Here is a funny, but stinky story of what can be found in one of these "bargains"....whew!
