I have been enjoying the many gorgeous photos of fall foliage around the country that have been shared here this week. Many of them are absolutely breath taking, while others are tantalizing with promise of an explosion of color soon to come. Here in the San Francisco Bay Area, autumn colors are more subtle in nature. While we'll soon be seeing blazing reds, oranges and yellows in garden specimen trees, this shot taken last week at the back Muir Woods is a more typical natural scene. It's hard to imagine a better way to incorporate fresh air and exercise in a world-class setting.
