Paint Your Heart Out is a national non-profit organization of community volunteers lending a helping hand to senior citizens within across the country. Volunteers repair, refurbish and paint homes of low-income seniors 65+ and disabled homeowners in communities throughout the U.S. The Mission: Paint Your Heart Out, Inc. is a volunteer driven nonprofit organization that helps low income, senior, or disabled homeowners maintain their dignity, safety and connections to the community. This outstanding organization with the help of community volunteers has helped homeowners over the years. In the past many of my Orange County friends have participated in this worthwhile event. We recently enjoyed the giving spirit of JoJo's this week at a fund-raiser for little Katie G., a five year-old Leukemia patient. As you can imagine, it was a glorious sight for us all. I took this photo yesterday as I stood at the back of the Crystal Cathedral in Garden Grove, California. It's a sight I've seen many times and yet I can tell you as a proud American it continues to move me each and every time. The flag is 90 feet tall at is hangs majestically nearing the top of of the cathedral. You can's help but feel a huge lump in your throat and pride in your heart as you experience the Battle Hymn of the Replubic as it's elevated.
