technology: Never say never . . . some of the time.

I'm not a big fan of saying, "Never." I rarely do it because it can come back and bite me. One thing I haven't said never about, but I thought it, was using a Kindle or a tablet for reading books. I guess I'm still old school when it comes to books. I have hundreds of books in my office, and I love pulling them off the shelf and flipping through them. I recently wrote a blog about my relationship with Apple's iPhone personal assistant, Siri. Siri has become a crucial part of my business life, and I lean on her a lot. There is, however, another female voice in my life that I'm thinking of divorcing. Her name is Mandy. No, Mandy is not my wife. Mandy is my GPS voice. I love technology, but I have to admit I like sleep, food, quiet, puppies, molasses cookies and a whole of other things. So, technology is one of those necessary items in my life that makes life better, I think. I know molasses cookies make life better. I have a very dear friend who always sends me an invite every time a new device or platform is launched. She always wants me to join her in the service.
