Crawford County February Sales show that there were fewer homes sold this month in comparison to last February 2006, but the average price of the homes have increased considerably. Again, we are seeing homes on the market for longer periods of time, but the % of Sales Price & List Price are about the same.

Residential Sales in Sebastian County have taken a slight dip in the Market in comparison to February 2006. Sebastian County Sales have have been very good with a decrease in the Average Days on the Market. The Average Sales Price of the homes have stayed consistent, but the number of units sold have dropped.

Ground was broken on September 12, 2006 for the new community center located at Martil Luther King Park. The Elm Grove Community Center is scheduled to be completed by June 2007. Susan Berry, commission member, thought the name represents a more multicultural area of town instead of a single person, which would be more inclusive.
