My Grandfather, Peter F. Provenzale, served as a Navigator on the B-17 Bomber called, The Argonaut II, during WW2. You can spot him along the top row standing 2nd from the left. Here's to you Grandpa Peter and Pop-Pop! And to all others who have and continue to serve. (7 comments)

Today is a day of honor, memory and thanks to those who have and are currently serving. Many of you know from my mothers' past post that her Father, Peter F. Honoring those who Serve-Memorial Day Many of you know from my mothers' past post that her Father Peter F. Provenzale served as a Navigator on the B-17 Bomber during WW2. Here is a breif post to honor him and the crew that flew with him.

Peter Provenzale top row, second in from the left As many of you know, my mother, Carole Provenzale's father, Peter Provenzale served in the U.S. Air force on the Argonaut III B-17 Bomber during WWII. He had the honor of serving with Clark Gable and other wonderful, dedicated soldiers. Thank you to all the Veterans and those serving our country today. Take memorial day not to just BBQ, but to truly give thanks. Let that be intentionally, literally, symbolically..remember. If (1 comments)
