Drum Circle Announcement!! This will be for Sunday, April 21st, 2024 at the Sunken Meadow State Park. We'll dedicate this drum circle in celebration for the upcoming Earth Day! Please join us to co-create some funky beats and rhythms!! And we welcome all types of instruments, not just drums Meeting on Sunday, April 21st, 2024 at Sunken Meadow State Park, parking Lot 3 (field 3), near the concession stand along the boardwalk from 3PM - 6PM. Laura Cerrano will bring a few extra drums and small percussions.

The unofficial start to summer celebration has begun!! On Memorial Day Weekend excited Drummers and Belly Dancers gathered together at the Sunken Meadow State Park in Long Island NY to offer a free public drum circle. This was an amazing and super fun opportunity to let loose, dance, play, connect, and above all create new happy memories!

Have you ever participated in a drum circle? If not, you may want to consider joining in after reading this post. According to research cited on Openculture.com, playing a musical instrument provides neurological and physiological health benefits. This includes improving your mood, immune system and even assists with bringing Alzheimer's patients back into the present moment. Wow!
