The Austin market is hot, hot, hot! High demand neighborhoods in Austin have less than one month of inventory. Wednesday, I went to check out a new listing in an area undergoing much redevelopment. This neighborhood actually had a negative value increase from January '14 to January '15 (per Gracy Title's market report). Hard to believe based on what I saw this week! The home went on the MLS about 6:00 pm on a Tuesday. On Wednesday afternoon there were 5 agents with clients standing in line out front waiting for their turn to view this home. I have buyer clients who are looking for an affordable home in a super hot central neighborhood in Austin. When a home popped up - it was in my in box, and my clients in box, within seconds of hitting the market.
