The Historic Hudson Valley Great Jack O’Lantern Blaze is back – bigger and better than ever. Every October Van Cortlandt Manor becomes transformed into a Halloween extravaganza with over 4000 hand carved- Jack O’Lanterns on display throughout the manor. The tour is well worth the time and effort and the effects are really quite stunning. I was there last year and hope to return this year – though time constraints may get in the way. Bring your camera. My pics (sadly) didn’t turn out because I was playing with a new camera lens that night and NOTHING worked. Wish I … (4 comments)
