Prospect Park in White Plains is a neighborhood located in the southwestern corner of White Plains sitting on the Scarsdale, NY border. Park Road in Prospect Park crosses seamlessly over to the Scarsdale border creating the illusion of one large neighborhood. The year is not 2008 – or even 2007. The year is 1996 and the seller is yours truly. My mother had just died after a prolonged illness and I was listing her house for sale.
