I'm hearing a lot of questions about the market in the area lately. One in particular is how the rental market is doing in our area. I pulled some simple stats from the HOUSTON MLS for KATY TEXAS just to see what was going on and found that the number of NEW properties coming on the market almost EQUALLED the number of properties going off the market (leased properties only, not just expired or terminated listings).

There will always be someone looking to exploit a system or take advantage...this is especially true if something is FREE! Seems that CRAIGSLIST has been the target of these would be thieves this time and the scam goes a little something like this: Brad goes onto CRAIGSLIST to find a home to rent for his family. He finds a fine looking property with a professional looking ad, professional photographs and a real estate agent.
