      Last June, 2014 Roosevelt High School had its graduation ceremony. We attended this event and saw many fireworks, celebration and dancing in the streets as our seniors joyfully graduated. One of the highlights was to see the seniors give a video presentation to briefly talk about their feelings at this time in their lives.      Today there was a 6.0 earthquake in northern California. Many homes were rattled and shaken to rubble, but some were completely destroyed that may have had little damage initially. There were 6 major fires that destroyed several mobile homes. These fires may not be due to the gas lines not being shut off in time however as the homes erupted into flame right in the middle of the earth quake. The average sold price was $471k for a typical 4 bedroom, 3 bath house of about 2700sqft of living space. I was surprised this week that days on the market for home sold was about 87 days. This is longer that usual.
