sacramento rental market: Sacramento rental market - 1st Quarter 2012 - 03/31/12 03:34 PM

We had a strong 1st quarter with rental activity which could be considered better than average.  As we approach April things have slowed down concerning both new rental supply and demand.  This is not entirely unusual and we should see improvement towards the later part of April if history repeats itself.
With the sales market improving in our area we may start to see less inventory and improved rental values by summer.

sacramento rental market: New Year - Sacramento Rental Market moving - 01/31/11 10:29 AM

Good start to the new year here in Sacramento and rental homes are leasing at 30 days or less in many cases.
Rental values seem to be stable and have not really moved either way in the previous 45 days.  We expect more improvement in the later part of the 1st quarter of 2011.
Demand for commercial leases are also improving which is a great sign of things to come.

sacramento rental market: December rental market update - 12/31/10 12:06 PM
Sacramento Property Management, Serving Natomas, Sacramento, Elk Grove, Land Park, Greenhaven/Pocket, Roseville, Rancho Cordova, North Natomas, Downtown and Midtown. December started out strong but stalled out by week two.
Rents dropped slightly and rent concessions became popular options.  Free rent and low move in costs helped.
As expected things are turning up the last week fo December as we gear up for a steady increase in volumn through January.
Tax return season is coming.....

sacramento rental market: November Rental Market in Sacramento - 11/30/10 01:50 PM

In general it seems to have been a bit slower this month than in October but December seems promising.
Inventory stalled a bit and we are hovering around a 30-45 day net exposure.
Rental values have maintained themselves with no noticeable bumps as seen in September and October.
I think the current conditions may be seasonal and not long term.   Looking forward to a busy 2011.
