Staging is Not Decorating. Let's not get personal in staging to sell. When you decorate a home, it is designed to appeal to the homeowners. When you sell your home appeal to the buyers. Staging is not decorating with your collections of memorabilia no matter how antique and no matter how valuable. Personal is personal. I know this is a simple question, but I think it deserves a little explanation that Staging is NOT Decorating. Decorating is personal. Some people already have Christmas lights up.
