Is your Home Missing a Pet from the Humane Society Adoption Center?
Beginning last November, generous local supporters sponsored Tucson's homeless dog and cat population, helping to reduce adoption costs to $50.

With help from the sponsor, each pet in the program comes with microchip, vaccinations, sterilization surgery, a bag of food, leash or carrier, and a free visit to their choice of  veterinarian  -- all for $50.

The main branch for the Humane Society of Southern Arizona is located at 3450 N. Kelvin Blvd, Tucson, AZ.  There are also adoption centers … (4 comments)

A Posh New Idea - "Pawsh" - A Humane Society of Southern Arizona Adoption Center
This past August, the Humane Society of Southern Arizona did a really great thing!  They've opened a new place for folks to adopt animals (cats, dogs, birds) and buy related merchandise at La Encantada shopping center.  (Skyline and Campbell)
The name of the store is "Pawsh", and its mission is to create a new image for animal shelters, as well as to encourage people to adopt instead of purchase their new pet. "Pawsh" feels like a regular pet store inside, and can help people feel more … (3 comments)
