Fairview Isles is neighborhood community located near the southern end of Fort Myers Beach. It is a real community within the island and when its Deed was drawn in 1958, it had certain clear rules and restrictions. It is a proud and famed community located away from the vacation fun and music excitement from downtown Fort Myers Beach. Fairview Isles boaters can quickly cross the Big Calusa Pass south near Lover's Key State Park and enjoy the open waters of the Gulf Of Mexico.

No homes for example should be less then 1000 square feet and should have a solid concrete foundation of at least 9 feet above mean low tide. Asbestos was and is not allowed…the list goes on and on but what stands out is a will from this community not to have any eye sores, including signs,except for professional reasons, temporary structures cannot be used as a temporary or permanent structure….
and no”noxious or loud activity of any kind “is allowed in this community of roughly 180 homes.Most homes are on canals with gulf access through the back bay of Fort Myers Beach or Estero Bay.
Residents of this area want owners and renters to keep their properties clean and don’t want anything “offensive” whatever that means.I think its common sense.
If you don’t like these rules then this community is not for you, but if you want to live in an area which is quieter and where people keep a neighborhood watch on top of the police rounds, and enjoy some boating to the gulf,fishing and are a few minutes to the beach, then this area is for you. It is a gorgeous area and the residents of this community intend to keep it that way. After all these rules were made by Fort Myers Beach residents and there is nothing that is out of the ordinary.
The Fairview isles community sponsors a Christmas dinner party, a picnic spring meeting mostly open for business interaction and affairs regarding the community and of course are very active in the the Saint Patrick Day Parade. They may have rules but it does not mean that they don’t like to have fun!
