YOu know that old addage -- the more you give the more you will receive -- if you just go for points, then you miss the entire point of AR -- to make new connections.
Danny,
It had to happen sooner or later that someone is going to come up with the idea of setting up shop on EBay to sell points. Just kidding.
Jim, maybe you should do a little research before you make a fool of yourself.
Let me see, 40 Post and 35 Comments made.... Can you say balanced....
Danny, I did look at your summary, also at many of your posts, posts are good, probably comments also. If you paid any attention, the attitude of cheap points concerns me. I started with AR last year. You could easily find articles that were of interest. You could get helpful hints easily. Of course that was before we had 32,000 members. Now with that many members, all blogging, the value as an information source is diluted.
Today there are 278 pages of blog summaries. 278 only goes back to 5/23/07. I have not counted how many summaries there are on the average page. Can you see the potential problem here? No? OK. Do your thing, your opinion is yours, I have a right to mine also.
I am sorry you take exception to my comment, ignoring the shorter ones above that convey the same thoughts, you know Joan, Natalie and Joan.
'Nuff said.
Hey, I have a really novel idea....
Why not write and post good qualtiy consumer-oriented content instead, categorize it to your specific market area within Localism, attracting potential clients who will use your services, and result in a nice commission check?
And here is the real bonus...you'll earn points at the same time!!!
I'm fairly new to AR and don't even know what points get me? What is the point???
