Let Him Buck on Speechless Sunday!

This pretty little 'chocolate' colt caught my eye Friday afternoon while I was looking around at the different horse properties and farm properties in Maggie Valley. The Crabtree area of Haywood County has more beautiful farms decorated with horses and cattle than Maggie Valley does, so this handsome guy surprised me since he wasn't too far from the Festival Grounds in the heart of Maggie Valley.

Good looking colt!  But mama looks a little on the lean side.  Maybe they should step up her feed for a couple weeks ...

I used to love watching the young foals get frisky and excited in the pastures when I was younger. We lived around several horse farms and they were absolutely adorable. I don't see as many now, but when I do they make me smile. This little guy sure is cute!

Beauty!   I like to go to the races, not to bet, but to watch the beautiful horses run!

Susie - a handsome fella for sure. Seems a little late in the year for this young horse but perhaps he is older than he appears.

Susie, Nice looking colt. I was driving through the country yesterday and saw several horse farms. Many of them belonged to the country music folks...

When we drive out to the "country" area in Sandusky, we see plenty of horses but for some reason, the don't look like these! hahahaha  Our horses look kind of scrawny compared to these.  I wonder why??
