Chaos And Disorder Are Perfectly Normal

Chaos and DisorderIn plowing though life in our real estate careers are you aware that

Chaos And Disorder Are Perfectly Normal?

From an agent perspective, something unexpected ALWAYS comes up. From a buyer view, the inspections don't turn out like you thought. From a seller look, why do you have to keep lowering the price? From a Stager, what is it that keeps making the owner change their mind about what they want to have staged and going all over the place with the price of the job?

There is a law in the universe related to entropy. It mainly has to do with energy and everything moving to its natural chaotic, essentially messed up state. Completely normal.

Think of weeds in the flower bed vs. a well maintained beautiful garden. Makes sense. Does this mean we should have messy houses and give up?

Does this mean children should be unruly or ourselves undisciplined? No. We just work WITHIN the disorder. Essentially embrace it, and get results despite it.

Space TravelLife is a journey and we have to navigate our way around it. Disorder and chaos and all.

It will have many things that will not exactly go our way.

Fishing Fun

But we need to be able to laugh at ALL of it whether it is going great or we are getting pooped on.

Halloween Funny

Life has smiles at just about every turn................                  McDonalds

So with life with all its disorder, ride it out, and remember these three phrases:

Live Well

Gary, I have a plaque with the message, "Live well, love much and laugh often".  It just says it all.  I like the cartoon on fishing and bird poop.

Put 40 years of experience to work for you

I can work within chaos, but I find it stressful. Sometimes, there is no alternative but pile stuff up and throw files on the floor. But after a few days of that, I need to take out time to put everything back into order. Efficiency may call for taking care of what's important now and letting the rest fall where it may. However, if it goes on too long, my head may be ready to explode.

Gary, Your graphics are wonderful!  I'd be having major FS attacks if I were in that office :)  We do often have obstacles and you can't fight them all and it uses too much energy---better saved for other times!

You must have driven past my house and seen the weeds in the flower bed.  Really, I am getting to it....soon!  Maybe we will get an early snow and that will take of it for me.  :-)

Hi Gary, timely post as I have been experiencing chaos for the last little while. Just roll with the punches and keep your head up laughing all the while seems to work well for me too.

Gary, I enjoyed your post.  You have to laugh eventually - but sometimes UGH! comes first.  The best laid plans of Mice and Men.  It goes with the business.

Retired and loving life

Gary I hate chaos and disorder in my life. But we need to be able to laugh at ALL of it whether it is going great or we are getting pooped on.  It is easier to laugh when things are great than when we are getting pooped on. Sometimes you just get tired of getting pooped on. But it is better to laugh than cry.
