Heavy Petting Encouraged in this Dog Story

By
Real Estate Agent with FHAllen, Sonoma Country and Vintage

Animal Shelters are always under financial pressure and they, and other, non-profit organizations are having an especially hard time in an economy that is 8 to 9 million jobs short of full- employment!

People, facing an uncertain economic future, naturally cut back on giving to private charities. That is why, those of us who are fortunate enough to have some measure of security maintain our support and hopefully expand it.

In lieu of Christmas presents this year our family and friends are going to exchange contributions to organizations like Heifer International, the Humane Society and food banks.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS to all of you, your families, including its members who are pets...and don't forget........Heavy Petting is encouraged!

Hi, Kathleen. The first thing I do every morning is to click on The Animal Rescue Site to help feed homeless dogs and cats in various shelters.

If you missed it, I encourage you to read Russel Ray's post about the work that they do and the help that they need http://0f5d5d3.activerain.com/post/1320706/all-the-animal-lovers-out-there-asking-a-very-small-favor-of-you-

This is a great post and a great idea; I hope alot of people follow your suggestion!

That's a great motto...Animal shelters always need our help and there are so many good programs out there like Forgotten Felines, etc.  Thanks for the note!
