As this week draws to a close and another one is about to begin, I received a hand written card in the mail from a new friend. How nice it is to feel the special attention of a note in someone's handwriting. On the outside of the card was a simple quote from Seneca, "Every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end." I'll supply my own photo of a sunset at Port Townsend Washington, below to convey that feeling to my friends reading this message . . .
