Home sales in Candle Creek, a neighborhood adjacent to the master-planned community of Whitney Ranch in Henderson, NV had a rough second quarter in 2007. Just three homes closed from April through June, compared to six homes in the first quarter.
Existing resale inventory has climbed to 26 homes, up from 19 in the first quarter. An additional three homes have accepted offers but have not yet closed escrow. In this highly competitive environment, pricing, maximum marketing exposure and showing condition are the key factors to getting homes sold. Homes in Candle Creek offer good values relative to the overall Las Vegas market.
