Absolutely, and editing some very personal items. That's a sensitive area, but if handled correctly won't be a problem.
The last home I staged, the owners were crushed when I told them they had to remove the almost life-size graduation pictures of their kids from the family room. When we found a huge naked wall in their bedroom, we put the pictures there and everyone was happy!
