Crimes Against Paint

By
Real Estate Agent with Select Realty Professionals

Those who live in NW Georgia might recognize this house. I find it to be in such horrifyingly bad taste that I've got to admire the person who picked out those colors, thereby giving the proverbial finger to anybody who might dare question his choices. This is a true individual, not someone who follows the herd in painting his house the nice neutral colors (boring!) that other mere mortals would approve of.

Paint on, crazy-colored-house person, paint on!

Looks like someone has plenty to say to the neighbors.... well, there is freedom of speech and all. But what if... what if they really think this looks good?

Maybe the owner is color blind:)

P.S. Anyone wondering why homeowner associations were formed?

WOW!  I'm speechless...almost.  Kind of reminds me of houses in the Caribbean.

Hi Julia ~ Good one! It actually doesn't bother me as much as one that's painted in just one bad color - flourescent orange, brilliant blue, etc. This one is so over the top it's now kinda funky or artsy.  And a convenient landmark when giving directions.

Yep, I kinda like it too, tacky though it is. The house is sort of out in the country so it isn't in a subdivision where it would stand out even more. It is, however on a main road.

Must have been some spectacular paint sale. A+ plus for marching to their own drummer but I wouldn't want to live next door.

Hi Julia, This is great. Now I can't actually imagine that the owners might have been color blind but I will give them an A for the acid color combination. Very good. Come join our group, I think you will especially enjoy it.

WOW.  The HOAs around here would have a heart attack.  I don't know what it says about me but I kinda like it - especially since it is NOT my neighbor.
