'How to' Video if you want to WEAR your iPhone

By
Real Estate Agent with J. Rockcliff, REALTORS

I like to wear my iPhone around my neck.  I don't like having to dig into pockets or a purse to use it and I can't tolerate a bluetooth earpiece.  Not only is it convenient for me to have it easily accessible, it's a security and safety issue to know I have it on me at all times.  It's especially handy during Open Houses and previewing homes because I can leave my purse at home and not worry about it being stolen.  I have so many women Realtors comment on it and ask where they can get one.  So, here's a little video tutorial on what you will need to make your own.  The phone case that I mention in the video that I like is Case-Mate.

If any questions, please feel free to comment, call or send me an email.  Enjoy!

Rick - thanks for watching and commenting. Yes, women will LOVE this! You can mix and match the lanyards and phone cases to match outfits you're wearing. I love it most for the convenience and security.

Hi Terri ~ Really well done video.  Re wearing your phone - it seems like a super idea if only because you're more likely to answer it. The agent in my market who is most likely to answer her phone wears hers.

Hi Terri - is there a case that would allow wearing the phone is the true vertical position? That would allow a semi-secret video to be made as one walks around a crowd... Just wonderin'

Liz and Patrick - thanks for stopping by and commenting. Liz...yes, it's hard to miss a call when it's hanging around my neck. Like comment #1, I also like the hands-free part very much. Patrick...this does hang in the vertical position, but I think I know what you mean...you want it more level in the vertical position? I am not aware of one and it would probably jiggle too much to capture a good video. Maybe stick and secure it in your shirt pocket with the camera end facing out? I also like the badges that the Apple Store employees wear and have asked numerous times if they could make a phone case like that...haven't seen it yet though! Ha!

That might work... I thought of velcro too, but with teh iPhone, the ON/OFF button is on the opposite side from the lens, so that might not do it...

Will keep working on it...

Thnaks!

Maybe you should try a Jawbone Bluetooth earpiece? They make them so small now that I hardly feel it at all. In fact, I'm always worried that I might accidentally jump in the shower with my Jawbone.

well this is a great idea so that you won't lose the phone.  Which can happen.  all we need now is an app that can be a name badge, and we can where it like a name tag! lol.

Sharon - thanks for stopping by and commenting. It's a convenient way for me as I don't like to carry a purse when I'm out working. One of the best steaks I've ever had was in Newport Beach area...I think it was called the Bungalow on the Pacific Coast Highway. Beautiful area down there!

I just had my phone stolen the other day because I put it down in order to be able to use both hands.  I had long thought about a "wearable" option, but of course never followed through.  Now I will certainly do so for my new phone and thank you for making such an informative video about it.  Time to shop...

Angela - I am so sorry to hear your phone got stolen! I also bought a little clutch-style purse that has a long chain on it. I wear it like a necklace. My phone slips in one side of it and the other side opens up for credit cards, license, and/or business cards. It's palm-size so small, but just perfect for my phone. I bought it at one of those accessory stores you find in the malls. It protects my phone a little better as well. Just a thought! Good luck to you and thanks for commenting!

Hello Terri - I enjoyed your video.  I think you're on to something.  It wouldn't take much to have those manufactured for you.  It could turn in to a nice little side business!

This would be a little bulky for the iPad, but I know they make clothing like jackets and vests with inside pockets that the iPad can fit in. Good luck!

In the vast world of smartphone accessories, finding a phone case that combines both style and durability can be particularly challenging for those looking for girly phone cases . These cases often need to be both visually appealing and capable of protecting your precious device from everyday wear and tear. Here's how to choose a case that meets these needs perfectly.

Material Matters

For robust protection, the choice of material is crucial. Silicone and TPU are popular for their shock-absorbing qualities and soft touch, which make them ideal for defending against drops and bumps. Polycarbonate offers a harder shell, providing excellent resistance to scratches and impacts. For a girly touch, look for cases that combine these materials with stylish accents like metallic finishes, glitter, or floral patterns.

Style and Functionality

Girly phone cases are not just about pretty designs; they should also be functional. Features such as raised bezels protect the screen when the phone is placed face down, while rubber or silicone grips can prevent slips. Choose a case that offers easy access to all ports and buttons, ensuring that it enhances the usability of your smartphone while adding a stylish flair.

User Recommendations

Consulting reviews from other users can provide insights into both the durability and the aesthetic appeal of the case. Many users appreciate cases that offer both a feminine look and reliable protection. I love my floral case from Orase! It’s not only gorgeous but also sturdy enough to protect my phone after several drops, shared one satisfied customer.

Eco-friendly Options

Increasingly, environmentally conscious choices are becoming important to consumers. Many prefer eco-friendly cases made from sustainable materials like bamboo or recycled plastics. These options are particularly appealing to those who wish to express their style while minimizing their environmental impact.

Where to Shop

For those on the hunt for girly phone cases that are both stylish and durable, Orase is a great starting point. They offer a wide range of designs that cater to a feminine aesthetic, from elegant floral patterns to chic glittery finishes. Each case is designed to ensure maximum protection and durability, making them a top choice for those who value both fashion and function.

Conclusion

Selecting the right girly phone case involves balancing aesthetic desires with practical needs. By choosing the right materials, considering user recommendations, and opting for eco-friendly options, you can find a case that not only looks great but also provides superior protection for your device.
