Hot Rod Parade in Downtown York Pa
While on a local business trip to downtown York Pa I was pleasantly surprised by a Hot Rod parade in downtown York Pa. It was actually kind of funny, as I was driving into town I definitley noticed the police presence coming into town, and I didn't understand the all the people sitting in chairs along the side of the rode. Now this went on for some time, not just a two or three block section, all the way through town. I am such a dork, here I am driving right by the fair grounds with all the signs and all the campers etc, I didn;t notice that it was the annual Hot Rod parade in downtown York Pa. The parade is held every Friday afternoon on the Hot Rod weekend.
Well I got into town and parked at the new condo project we have just finished and walked the half the block to the parade route. Not a bad break for a warm Friday afternoon. Check it out and enjoy...

Gerry:
Those are some fabulous old cars (and I noticed some buses in there too.) I would not mind seeing the hot rod parade. I love cars!

Now that looks like fun and reminds me of the old photos I have seen of my father's 1920s first car!

Now that you have reminded me, we have "Classic Car Fridays" here in La Mesa during the summer. I need to get over there with my handy dandy Canon Rebel XSi and take some pictures.
