Lowe's Realtor Benefits

By
Real Estate Broker/Owner with Live Love Homes-Keller Williams, Charlotte, NC Ballantyne Area

Is anyone actively using the FREE Lowe's Realtor Benefits program that they offer us?

About 5 years ago when I was on bedrest and didn't do much social media I had gotten an email from the Lowe's Realtor Benefits Program and signed up all of our past, present and prospects at the time. I of course am probably about a year behind in doing so now but for a while I kept it up.

I don't know that I can say that any real business came from it but I did get several clients to tell me every couple of months they are excited when their newsletter comes from Lowes and they have coupons in it. It is another free tool in my belt I guess.

Here are some of the benefits in case you are not aware:

5% off Lowe's cards you purchase yourself

Print or E-cards that have your info and Lowe's coupons and information on how to make improvements that sell or save them money

They are all personalized how you would like them

Foreclosure coupons

E-newsletters

HGTV Email

Check it out... www.lowesrealtorbenefits.com

Ok, so it has taken me 3 hours to write this post and now ALL of my clients are in and on a program. I will be touching them this week with at least a newsletter and a coupon from Lowe's.

If you are looking to buy or sell in the Charlotte, NC and surrounding area, contact us today. You will love getting coupons and newsletters from Team Ludlow and Lowe's!

Lisa, I use the Realtor benefit when I purchase Lowes gift cards as closing gifts. Lowe's sends my clients the discount coupons and a magazine, you can't beat something for FREE these days!

I used to send them to both the buyer and the seller. One person called to thank us and said they hadn't heard from their agent since the closing. Sad....

Marilyn:

Isn't FREE nice? I should add to my closing regimen, adding my clients to the Lowe's program but somehow I was way behind.

Have a great week.

I just did that on a couple of them as well. Who knows, most agents don't follow up at all. It is sad. Have a great week Billie.

Hi Lisa - I do use the Lowes benefits and have gotten thank you calls and emails.  When buyers move into their new home there are always things they want to change, and the coupons help with that.  They like the magazine too.

As far as I know, the Realtor benefits are not offered by Lowes in Canada.

I've been using the E-cards offering a discount to my customers for years. Buyers seem to really appreciate it!

I am a huge fan of Lowe's Realtor Benefits!  It "touches" my past clients on a regular basis when I am short on time or just forget.  Another way to stay fresh in your clients mind and yes, I have gotten referrals because of the program.

Lisa - like you, I cannot empirically state that it has helped my business, but, it certainly hasn't hurt. It is a good way of keeping in touch with clients.

Thanks for the info.  I wondered if many realtors used the Lowe's Benefits.  It is a nice program.

I have actually started using it on my buyers that have not bought yet as a touch to keep them knowing that I am ready when their house sells, they transfer etc....

My company is associated with this program.  I have sent gift cards, but there is no indication of who sent the card.  I had to ask my client if they received a gift card from me.  I did this all online thinking this couldn't be easier, but it does not work.  Embarassing to call and ask if my gift was received.  I won't use it again.
