festThe Castle Rock Artfest is one of the most interesting and popular local events in the Denver area. It has become a long-standing tradition in this charming town, drwaing huge crowds every year. The festival is a celebration of art in all shapes and sizes, as well as a chance for the local community to gather and be entertained. The Artfest features not just art, but muxic and other forms of entertainment, and it is very popular with the locals as well as people from further afield.

It is expected that about 25,000 people will take part in the festival this year to enjoy the work of over 170 different artists. The artists who take part in this festival come from across the whole country and they work in a huge variety of art and craft styles.

Awards will be presented for the best artworks on display. The festival will include work from a wide range of different artists working in different styles and mediums, including both arts and crafts. There will be awards for each class, including watercolor paintings, sculpture, photography, ceramics, jewelry and woodwork.

Other entertainment at the festival will include Group Talaloc Danza Azteca, strolling entertainers among the crowd, including the festival favorite the giant sunbird puppet, and a children's Imagination Zone. The Imagination Zone will feature storytelling, creative art projects and exhibits from a number of local organizations. Exhibitors at the 2010 Artfest include the local historical society, the Castle Rock Players, Castle View High School and HawkQuest Birds of Prey.

Food and drink will be available from a number of vendors, and there will also be the Artfest store where visitors can pick up a souvenir of the day.

The auction will take place between 1 pm and 3pm on Sunday the 12th, in the silent auction tent at the Artfest. Winning bidders will be contacted after the end of the silent auction.
