Everthing BUT The Kitchen Sink.....

By
Real Estate Broker/Owner with Everything Pines Partners Fayetteville

OK we have all heard the term "everything BUT the kitchen sink".  I have never really understood that saying but I have probably said it a few times...

Kitchen Sink

At my house EVERYTHING revolves around the kitchen sink! The first thing you do everyday is put something into it after you have gathered in the kitchen for breakfast and the last thing that you do at the end of the day is clean everything up in it and get it ready for another day.

That got me thinking about the story my sink can tell....

Counter tops

You see just UNDER my sink you will find my counter tops that I love and went through great lengths to chose just the right ones for me.  I had a very nice fellow and his team do them for me.  Sanford Granite and Tile.  They are locally owned and operated and I have to say he really gives a great deal!  They are very friendly and will do the job to your satisfaction, or should I say to Hugo's satisfaction because he is pretty picky about the final product!  If you would like to get a quote for your kitchen or bath give him a call at 919-353-5549!

Cabints

Then that brings me to what then is UNDER my lovely counter tops.  My cabinets! I love, love them! There are so many little features I couldn't possible tell you them all.  But I particularly like my "lazy Susan's" in each lower corner of my cabinets.  It really makes good use of the space!  If you wold like to re do your cabinets might I suggest giving Brock Cabinets a call @ (910)424-6233.

Wd 40

Dishwasher

Located inside my cabinets is my dishwasher, a GREAT friend of mine.  The problem with my dishwasher is that is get those unsightly water marks on the front, tried to show them in the photo to the left. I have a solution for that WD 40! Yep that's right you just spray a little on a clean towel and wipe the front of your dishwasher and those unsightly water marks just fade away.  The good thing about this is it will last a couple of months before you need to do it again! I happen to keep this can in the cabinet UNDER my SINK. You see how in shines now in the photo below?

Tile Floor

UNDER my cabinets you will find my Tile floor.  I really like the tiles that I selected from the large selection that Carpet One has to offer.  If you are looking to replace any of the flooring's in your home take a trip over to Raeford Rd to Carpet One and spend some time looking at their selection.  If you see Sabrina while you are there tell I sent you!  By the way my office is just down the street stop by and say "hi"!

You will find all of these things for viewing in my neighborhood Traemoor Manor.  This is a wonderful, friendly neighborhood in the Jack Britt school district.  The neighbors are VERY neighborly and they love to plan "get togethers"!  If you are looking for a great home with lots to offer give me a call I would LOVE to show you one of ours!!

So that is what my kitchen sink has to tell you today, maybe tomorrow it will have a differnt story to tell....

Melissa ~  Excellent idea on the WD 40!  I normally carry a can in my car for emergencies with lockboxes, keys, etc., but I never thought of this!  Love your kitchen -- looking forward to that cookie swap!  Now let it be known you CAN blog about anything and you do it quite well!!!

Great job on the post Melissa! Are you having a cookie swap too?  Mine is on December 5th.  I attended one last year for the first time and decided it's something I have to do!

Melissa - like many above, I LOVE the tip about the WD40!  I hate the water stains on my refrigerator from the ice/water drips.  I'm going to try it.  (Nice kitchen, too!)  :D
