Tahoe City

I am a new member of Active Rain and I am just scratching the surface of the available resources. I spent about thirty years on the North Shore of Lake Tahoe in Tahoe City, the west shore, and on the Truckee River. I was just checking out AR members in that area and it brought back fond memories of shoveling snow, dealing with the short building season, and seeing snow every month of the year except August. Living in the desert of Arizona now, I can truely say, I don't miss the cold. I do miss the beauty of Tahoe
