Nope, there won't be a lot of dogs but there will be a lot of chili. You can supportKismet Keeshond photo by Mike Saunders 10 different charities by attending this years Athens Area Charity Chili Cook-Off at Pittard Park in Winterville, GA.

Tasting starts at 12:00 Noon and goes until 3:00 PM. At 3:30 awards will be presented for the best chilis.

Some of the charities supported by this event will be:

The Athens Area Humane Society

PAWS

Athens Canine Rescue

and 7 others.

Tickets are $10 and lets you tase all of the chilis.

Preceding the cook off the Athens Canine Rescue group will be holding an "Adoption Day".

Well if I were in Georgia I would surely go.  In my opinion there is nothing better than a good dog.  I just love them and own 3.  They take much of my time but they are some of the best friends I have ever had.

Cindy - the right dog can be great. We lost Kismet about 4 years ago but still have my wife's dog.
