The City of Gaithersburg Winter Lights Festival is ready to welcome visitors for its 15th season.  The dazzling display of lights at Seneca Creek State Park will be open nightly from
Friday, December 3, 2010 through Saturday, January 1, 2011

In the spirit of the holidays, proceeds from the 2010 festival will benefit local charities, including the Dolores Swoyer Camp Scholarship Fund, Gaithersburg Community Volunteer Soup Kitchen, Friends of Seneca Creek State Park, Shady Grove Adventist Hospital’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Gaithersburg HELP, and the Gaithersburg Holiday Giving Program.

Winter Lights is open Sunday through Thursday from 6 to 9 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 6 to 10 p.m.  The Festival is closed on all Mondays and on December 25.  Cash-only admission is $12 per car Tuesday through Thursday and $15 per car Friday, Saturday and Sunday.  The event is sponsored in part by MIX 107.3 FM, Washingtonian Center, the Gazette Newspapers, Lakeforest Shopping Center, MedImmune, Hughes Network Systems, Montgomery Life Magazine, Washington Parent Magazine, Premier Values Magazine, and the Maryland Department of Natural Resources.
