What is in a Number???

So maybe are values are down from this point last year... Maybe our total sales are down??? But we still need to get up in the a.m. we still need to go to the gym and we still need to make sure the kids leave for school at the correct time.  So why not make the next 13 months the best we have had in the last 3 or 4 years???  People count on us to be professional in our jobs and some people count on us to be full of smiles at home.  Can we forget the news of doom and gloom and push forward? 

How do we do this?  We put one foot in front of the other and we go!  Yes, sounds easy doesn't it?  It can be very hard for most people.  You may want to change your morning routines and try something new to accomplish this but you can do it.  I get up at 5a.m. every stinking weekday a.m. to go to the gym.  I see bascially the same dozen or so people working out during the week at that hour so I am not alone.  I read my magazine and do 25 minutes of cardio.  That is MY time to perhaps learn something or zone out as I rarely talk to other people then.  It is the routine that I carved out for myself.  After another 20 minutes of stretching and weights and I leave the gym to face my family at home.  I am awake and ready to help get three boys out the door to school.  The boys think I have way too much energy for 7a.m. however I have this level throughout the day because I start with a workout. 

You too can get in a workout and be a productive citizen during your day.  You will be truely surprised how much focused energy you will have for your career if you can do some exercize prior to work.  Many years ago I worked out after work and I found too many excuses not to workout in the afternoons.  I have no excuse in the a.m.  This is your time to focus on you.  Forget the doom and gloom of the industry and focus your energies on you and how you will make a difference in your work which will lead us all to better numbers moving forward.  If you want to learn some new marketing startegies to sell more homes call me for somthing different!
