What is a Real Estate Investor to do in an economy where finding money for your next investment is as easy as finding a leprechaun on Valentine's Day?
My wife and I turned to Investing in Real Estate through our IRAs and 401Ks and what a great investment it has been! After the stock market tanked a few years back, I lost confidence in just parking my retirement income in mutual funds. I really don't follow stocks to begin with and was just trying to do the right thing for when I'm old and grey.
What I found with using your 401K or IRA money is that you have all the control. And guess what? No need to beg a bank for money since the money is coming from your own retirement account. This method has allowed us to continue our real estate investing and grow. You can even borrow on someone else's IRA or 401K for your investments. Of course, there are rules around that you should research prior to pursuing this.
In the 14 years I've been a real estate investor, I know what a good and "safe" investment is and I'm perfectly fine directing my own funds and getting that double-digit ROI every year.
