Living in Highlands Ranch - Autumn Activities for All

By
Real Estate Agent with Realty Oasis - Metro Brokers

Highlands Ranch always has an abundance of activities - that is just one of the reasons that Highlands Ranch is such a great place to live.  The fall in Colorado has always been my favorite time of year in Denver and having so many great things to do practically in my backyard makes it even better.

Here are just some of the activities coming up in Highlands Ranch.  Enjoy!

Highlands Ranch Farmer's Markets - Highlands Ranch Town Center - Sundays through October 28th - 10 am - 2:00 pm
The farmers markets are always great fun and I can't wait to see if my kids find their perfect pumpkin at the Farmer market this year or elsewhere.

Beer Tasting at the Highlands Ranch Eastridge Recreation Center  - This looks like a fun event - The Rock Bottom Brewery will offer a sampling of their famous Colorado brews - along with appetizers & desserts.  Tickets are $15 each and can be purchased at the Rec Centers and the event is on Saturday October 6th

Fall Craft Show at Eastridge- This is an event my wife usually attends - I know she tends to start her Christmas shopping early and this has been a favorite event for her.  I have to admit, I have never gone - but in years past when I drive by, the parking lot is packed - so its definitely a hit.  The show runs the weekend of October 13 & 14th.

Haunted Hayrides- Nothing like a Colorado Hayride - especially around Halloween! My kids love these types of events and consistently beg to go.  I am sure I'll see you at this one.  The Hayrides run from Oct 26 - 28th and you can sign up at the Rec Center but the actual rides will be at Stockton Plum Creek Stables in Littleton.

Trick or Treat Street- I think I have been to this event at least 5 years in a row.  Always the Saturday before Halloween, area businesses gather to hand out candy to the little gremlins in side the Eastridge Rec Center.    There have also been jumpers and other activities in the past as well for a small fee.

Highlands Ranch is a beautiful place to live, especially in the fall.  Make sure you are carrying your camera as you are out and about at these fun events, you are sure to have many great photo opportunities, perhaps one will even be perfect for your Christmas Card.

Teri - There really is, and these are just a small amount of them.  We are fortunate to have such a strong Community Association that plans so many of these.
