Tollway 121 to 380 Opening

The Dallas North Tollway extension from State Highway 121 to 380 is expected to open on Friday 9/28. This is a welcomed update to the infrastructure providing continued improvements to what is a truly remarkable city.

Opening of Tollway Extension to Improve Mobility

Plano, TX - Over 40,000 drivers daily are expected to benefit from improved mobility thanks to the opening of the 9.6-mile extension of the Dallas North Tollway from just north of State Highway (SH) 121 to U.S. 380 on Friday, Sept. 28, 2007.

The northbound lanes of the roadway will be open to traffic prior to the Friday evening commute. Opening of the southbound traffic lanes will follow. The Phase 3 extension of the Tollway will open with cash and TollTag options at each tolled ramp and the main lane toll plaza. Tolls are as follows:

Eldorado Main Toll Plaza $1.05 1.30

While the entire stretch of roadway will be open to traffic, four of the 26 ramps' openings will be delayed as follows:

Northbound exit to Stonebrook Parkway (Open by Oct. 16, 2007)
Southbound entrance from Stonebrook Parkway (Open by Oct. 16, 2007)
Southbound exit ramp to Warren and Gaylord Parkway (Open by Oct. 16, 2007)
Northbound entrance from Stonebrook Parkway (Open by Nov. 10, 2007)

Construction activities will continue until the project is complete. Motorists can expect off-peak lane closures as work continues. During this period, we encourage our motorists to observe all signage, speed limits and to drive safely through these areas.
