MS Windows since MS-DOS. Fun video

I got a kick out of this.  Somewhat of a hike down Memory Lane, upgrading through every version of Windows.

Of course, I really only go on board with Windows 98, but found this video entertaining and fluid in presentation.  When is the last time you thoguht of Doom II, or Monkey Island?

Or DOS, for that matter.  Gotta say, I love my Windows 7, which the video calls the "latest and greatest" Windows OS.  we just saw W7 32, Service Pack 1 load last night.  For some reason, it hasn't hit my 64 bit OS machines yet.  But, it went off without a hitch on the laptop, so I am optimistic that the desktops will upgrade to SP1 expediently enough.

The video, without further ado:

Mike, while he has a lovely British accent, and the fact that I used to program computers in DOS, I was ready for Dreamland after about four minutes.  But, I bookmarked for the nights when I can't sleep and need some sort of non-drug sedative.

I am sure it will be interesting to me when it permeates my REM sleep and gets into my conscious mind (assuming I still have one).

Suzanne,

I made it through the whole thing easily, but won't do it twice...  He does have a good voice.

To be able to deliver a report or tutorial so clearly and efficiently is a thing of beauty. I just upgraded my video software today and it has a video-screen capture feature, which I tried. The above must have taken days to create.

Glenn,

I thought it was crisp and flowed well, too.

Maureen,

I seldom watch videos over 2 minutes long.  The ten minutes flew by on this one.
