It was a glorious afternoon for getting in Last Licks, at the beach.

Compo Beach Rules

Compo Beach rules say:
"NO ANIMALS ARE ALLOWED BEYOND THIS POINT FROM APRIL 1ST - SEPT 30TH."

Doggie rendevous at Compo Beach

In the meantime, there's still time for a friendly run.

A dip in the Long Island Sound

And, what's a day at the beach, without a dip in Long Island Sound?

Only 2 weeks left at the beach, but all is not lost.

Westport canines have their own "Doggie Park" (aka Winslow Park),

in which to romp around, all year long.

Barbara- I was just enjoying the weather. It's been years, since we've had a dog. We had two schnauzers. First one lived 17 years and the next one, fifteen years. Whenever we see a miniature schnauzer, we think wouldn't that be nice - then we come back to our senses!!

BTW - I asked the subject of the first picture if she would like to be in my blog. I was assured by the owner that Coco (sp?) would love to. As you can see, Coco was only too happy to pose for me.

Karen- I'm glad they got a few nice days in. It's been awfully cold at the beach, this week, and not likely to warm up until Thursday - the last day the dogs are allowed at Compo.
