Lavender Blue - Hydrangeas on the table

It was a busy week, getting things ready for our daughter's wedding which took place Sunday morning. Saturday night we had all of the potted Hydrangeas on our breakfast room table, ready to be loaded up and taken to the wedding reception. They looked so pretty!Hydrangeas

Now the flowers are all back at our house, ready to be planted around the pool in our backyard. Hydrangeas don't do too well in the Houston heat, but I am hoping that if I plant them in the shaded areas, they will do okay.

I tried to upload these pictures last night in time for Speechless Sunday, but kept getting an error message. So instead of Speechless Sunday, I am doing a Speechless (sort of) Monday!

Rose - Hydrangeas are one of the most beautiful flowers. I love the pinks, whites and blues and would have my whole yard full of them if I could.

Hydrangeas are one of my favorite flowers.  Along with hyacinths which smell so sweet in the spring...and of course lilacs. But, I could go on forever.  Good luck with the plants.

Hi Rose, your daughter's wedding must have been beautiful.  These hydrangeas would add the perfect touch.  They should grow well in shaded areas.  Good luck!

Hope the wedding went off well. I wanted to let you know that it was a LifeTouch photographer that photographed our wedding and he did a great job. You probably knew that was why I asked the question. The flowers are beautiful and making me even more eager for spring.

Blue Hydrangeas are my FAVORITE FLOWER! If you plant them in the shade and give them a ton of water in the early morning and again late in the evening they will last.

Beautiful flowers ~ I love how large they can become when planted.  I hope you find a good spot.  That would be a great memory for the special day!
