Don't Argue With Your Crazy Aunt In The Attic
Gary makes perfect sense here for dealing with the crazies in your life. And, when you are a broker, you have the crazy banks, the crazy sellers, the crazy buyers, the crazy agents, you get the pictures....it goes on and on.
A comment I received talking about interactions with people reminded me of good advice with some,
Don't Argue With Your Crazy Aunt In The Attic.
Mainly dealing with people who get irrational on you. What they are saying makes no sense to you. I wouldn't in general label anyone TOTALLY crazy, but their words or behaviors, as for all of us, on some days are way out there.
And if you are in no mood to argue going crazy with crazy, let them go on their crazy argument way but you just know they are not on their A game.
The reason this is good advice, is arguing with a crazy behaving person is pointless. It will go nowhere. Just chalk it up to one of those strange situations you find yourself in at times. You cannot be rational with irrational. It is like mixing oil and water in a jar and sloshing it around. When everything "settles" guess what you have? Still oil and water. Nothing got mixed up, and you just wasted a bunch of energy. Go find something else to do. But you know what? That crazy aunt of yours will probably follow you around anyway just for entertainment purposes. You know, DRAMA QUEEN.
People have good days. People have bad days. It's those crazy days you have to shake your head at sometimes.
