Free Concerts in the Parks with the Nashville Symphony!
June will be filled with music by the Nashville Symphony. Starting Thursday June 9th, 2011, Kelly Corcoran will conduct free concerts in Nashville's Parks!
Kelly and Resident Conductor Albert-George Schram planned the programs together for this summer. You can expect to hear a variety of music including "Hoe-Down" which is a celebration of the American West, "A salute to the Boston Pops", music from some of your favorite movies and of course some of the classics.
The Nashville Symphony never fails to delight young and old alike. And it's FREE! Who can beat that?
Here is the June Schedule:
Thursday June 9th, 8pm at East Park
Friday June10th, 8pm BiCentennial Mall State Park
Sunday June 12th, 7pm Crockett Park in Brentwood
Wednesday June 15th, 7:30pm Moss-Wright Park in Goodlettsville
Tuesday June 21st, 7:30pm Centennial Park
Tuesday June 28th, 7:30 Centnnial Park
Pack your lawn chairs, blankets a picnic and go enjoy an evening of fine music!
In addition to these concerts, the Nashville Symphony will offer a free concert on July 4th, at Riverfront Park to help celebrate Independence Day with Nashvillians.
