I never know for sure what I will see when I look out my windows upon Elliot Bay. I have seen full moons, rainbows, Cruise ships, tug boat races, sail boats and sunsets. Today I witnessed U.S. Coast Guard training maneuvers, including a man lowered….Well, just take a look for yourself

Hi Judi - Wow! It must be very hard to learn how to do that kind of thing when the helicopter is churning up the water all around you. I guess this is why they need to practice! Thanks for sharing that - I found it fascinating.

Hi Kristine~ It might just be part of the reason I love Seattle so much. Although, even as I wrote that, I knew, it is so much more than Puget Sound views! We are immersed in an artistic, intellectual and edifying city.
Ronald~ The Weather has been rainy for the past few days. Elliot Bay appears much greener in my photos when it rains. It doesn't stop me from walking to my usual places, although my trusty umbrella goes too. After all, we do live in a rain forest region.
Today We are catching a glimpse of sunshine, and I will take this opportunity to find something new to share about Seattle...there is nothing more beautiful to me than a sunny day in Seattle!
Hi Judy~ It looked hard to me! They worked at this maneuver for two days. My husband and I would hear the helicopter returning and I'd get my camera.
